Stars of the North Cancer Council
Arthur Murray Crows Nest was once again proud to be the major dance studio sponsor for the 2018 NSW Cancer Council 'Stars of the North' charity function.
Stars of the North is a fundraising event where local personalities, business leaders and everyday hero's are teamed up with a professional dancer.
In the style of Dancing With The Stars, local celebrities were teamed up with our staff and each given over $2,500 worth of free dance instruction in preparation for the dance-off held at the Norths Club Cammeray.
Raising money through dance
In 2017, Arthur Murray Crows Nest helped raise over $138,000 towards finding a cure for cancer and in 2018 managed to do even better, raising $148,000!
We’re extremely proud of our Stars and our amazing and talented teachers who put their heart and souls into every lesson and choreographed some fantastic routines in such a short period.
